Cultural Identity

               

              I have learned a new lesson and it grabbed my attention since I heard of it. It is melting pot and salad bowl. I have never heard of that and now after I knew what it means I liked it. It showed me that there are two kinds of people and both of them are proud of their background, but some of them needed to be melting pot to fit in. Also, it taught me to be proud of whom I am and not to be ashamed of showing people my ethnicity and personality. I learned about cultural diversity and I recommend parents to teach their kids from an early age like seven years old so when they grow up they become respectful and polite to different ethnicities. Therefore, we will live in a peaceful world without wars.
