GuangHai China

GuangHai China
First, I had to talk about my hometown. That’s a small town called Guang Hai, but it is a beautiful town. It was the place that I grew up. I chose those images because I missed the life that I was living at China. Those pictures reminded me a lot of memory. I have been staying around at Chicago for six year. I wonder I can spend my time with my grandparents during the Chinese New Year again. The pictures that I showed are the memory about my childhood, the famous star, and the food.
 Mantis Shrimp
Mantis Shrimp is my favorite seafood. When I was a child, my grandparents always cook this to me. Most locals usually fried the mantis shrimp with the garlic. I will never forget the taste that I miss.
 Tony Leung
Tony Leung is the most famous star. I chose him because he is so handsome. He is the part of our country POP culture. Tony was making legend with other three handsome men between 1982 until now.
 Haiyong Wubo Park
Haiyong Wubo Park is the most important park at my hometown. I was going to this park for field trip when I was a third grade student. The name of this park meant no more storms during the navigation. People made hopes to be safe and can be survival next to the sea.
 Martyrs Cemetery
Martyrs Cemetery is a tomb inside the Haiyong Wubo Park. There are many soldiers tomb behind the big tombstone. Those soldiers were trying to protect this town, so after the war people made them this tomb. Teacher always told us to be proud with them.
Spirit Lake Temple
Spirit Lake Temple is the oldest building at my hometown. It has been going through several centuries. The monks were moving to other temple during the war. Locals were trying to keep this culture, so they were fixing and building several time. Many people will go to the temple because they trusted it might help for their health and safe.

He make Chinese stronger, because he changed the way American thought of Chinese people and told the world about kung fu. Thus, I love my family give me money in Chinese New Year, the snack guangbing reminds me of my childhood, and Bruce Lee is my hero.
The black Friday and Christmas are the American Culture that I have embraced. I like shopping, but I didn't know I was the guy that wait in the line for few hours just for TV. Next, I love Christmas just because I can get gifts from my friends and family.

Mid-Autumn Festival

The joyous Mid-Autumn Festival was celebrated on the fifteenth day of the eighth moon, around the time of the autumn equinox. The Mid-autumn Festival is a little like Thanksgiving. It is celebrated at the end of the harvest season.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is my most favourite festival. On this day,Chinese families get together. We tell the story about a lady who lived in the moon .They give each other small round moon cake .Some moon cakes have a yellow egg yolk in the middle.                                  Also Mid-Autumn Festival is my birthday. I celebrate my birthday with family. If you visit Mongolia, especially during July you watch real Mongolian tradition food. Which is "Naadam". In the 13th century Mongolians started to celebrate this celebration for Great Empire of Chingis Khaan. My Most favorite part of my culture is mine Traditional clothing "Deel". I put Stalin`s (Soviet Union`s Leader) photo. Because you can`t survive without "Deel" in Mongolia no matter who you are.

"kung fu" is Chinese martial arts. The genesis of
Chinese martial arts has been attributed to the need for
self-defense, hunting techniques and military training in
ancient China. Hand-to-hand combat and weapons
practice were important in training ancient Chinese soldiers.

Panda is one of the most recognized animals from China. Regarded as a symbol for friendship and peace, these pandas have attracted many people around the world by their beautiful coats and playful nature. Life in Guilin

There Is a Chinese proverb said, “Guilin’s scenery is the most beautiful under heaven.” I am so proud that Guilin is my hometown. Surrounded by lakes, rivers, and Karst Mountains that jut out of the earth like giant limestone pillars, Guilin has been famous for its breathtaking natural beauty for a thousand years. Thus, the culture of Guilin is tourism.

Elephant Trunk Hill is the symbol of the city of Guilin. It got its name because it looks like an elephant drinking water.
Legend of the Jade Emperor has a horse elephant, one day the Emperor took it down to earth, until he wanted to go back, elephant nostalgia Guilin scenery, unwilling to go back, went to the Lijiang River water. The Jade Emperor was very angry, pull the waist sword and striking the elephant, the elephant into the Rock Hill, namely Elephant Trunk Hill, became a sword hilt on Fugen Xiangshan tower.

The Longsheng Rice Terraces are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountain top, between 600 m to 800 m above sea level. A coiling terrace line that starts from the mountain foot up to the mountain top divides the mountain into layers of water in spring, layers of green rice shoots in summer, layers of rice in fall, and layers of frost in winter.

That is my favorite food. Rice noodles, mifen, is the most famous and popular local snack in Guilin. It is pliable but strong, fragrant and mellow, and cheap. We consume it as breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Guilin rice noodles can probably be found within 100m of any town or city area in Guilin.
There are many kinds of rice noodles. Whatever the version of rice noodles, the gravy is the cream of it. The gravy is slow-boiled for several hours with various (up to 20) ingredients and spices, such as dried tangerine peel, cinnamon, and ginger.

I miss my home town so much. This is a city that you can forget any trouble with fresh air, clear rivers, different forms of the mountains, and so on. I hope you can come here in the future.

In this poster I put pictures about the ancient Egyptian life and symbols that are very popular in the Egyptian culture. Also, I put pictures of the early kings and queens who lead the country because most people do not know about them. The most powerful king was Ramesses II, he was the third pharaoh. Most of the pictures in this poster are places around the pyramids and some of them are inside it. Those pictures mean a lot to me because it is part of my life.
